Jaime Dunham is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

…and Diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She received her Master’s of Science degree from Cal State Long Beach and has worked in the mental health field since 2010. She is a Long Beach native and loves working with and learning from the diverse families that live in this beautiful city. Jaime predominantly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a strong foundation in attachment, trauma-informed, and person-centered practices.

Jaime has specialized training in treating anxiety disorders including OCD, Panic Disorder, Separation Anxiety, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder in both children and adults. Jaime’s experience treating young children started in a community mental health setting where she worked extensively with kids experiencing trauma and family disruption. She continues to enjoy working with children and loves supporting families dealing with anxiety, foster care or adoption, grief and loss, and more. She also has training through Post Partum Support International in treating women and families in the perinatal period.

Jaime practices with kindness, compassion, and respect, making clients an equal partner in the therapeutic process. She feels that it is an honor and a privilege to enter into the lives of her clients in this capacity and believes in the power of psychotherapy to bring healing and positive transformation.

When not in her office, Jaime can be found playing with her kids, going on hikes, or baking her favorite chocolate chip cookies.
